WE ARE ONE
Founded in 1968, the Barrie Soccer Club has been the heartbeat of our local soccer community for over five decades. As a proud not-for-profit organization, we serve more than 3,500 members—from young dreamers just learning the game to seasoned players, coaches, and referees shaping its future. Our mission is simple but powerful: to inspire a lifelong love of soccer through dedicated development of coaches, players, and referees. We champion growth on every level—physical, social, tactical and technical—guided by the values of team spirit, sportsmanship, and mutual respect. Soccer at Barrie isn’t just a sport—it’s a shared experience, a source of pride, and a platform for lifelong friendships. We believe in creating a community where every player feels seen, every coach feels empowered, and every referee feels supported.
We offer a recreational house league program for ages 3 to adult, a developmental program for ages 8 to 13 years, a competitive program for ages 14+as well as a pathway for talented players aspiring to play soccer at a University/College level and/or professionally. The Barrie Soccer Club also offers physical literacy training, goalkeeper programs, and winter & summer camps.
The Barrie Soccer Club commits to working alongside charities, municipalities, school boards and other agencies to support development of the sport within the Barrie area and reinforce our role as a community builder in developing healthy and responsible citizens.
As a not-for-profit organization, the Barrie Soccer Club is governed by a Constitution and a volunteer Board of Directors. We have also developed a 5-year strategic and operational plan to ensure we remain on track of realizing our vision and mission.
